Rothenburg Walk (Short)

This tour starts at your hotel at 10 a.m. and lasts about 90 minutes.

James tells you the story of what really happened to the castle of Rothenburg (it certainly was not destroyed in an earthquake) plus other hidden highlights of Germany's best-preserved medieval town. We tour St. Jakob's church and James shows you the relic of Rothenburg, which brought many pilgrims to the city in the middle ages.

Nuernberg History with World War II Sites

This tour includes medieval Nuernberg with the castle (not interior) and the old town center. Explanation of the importance of Nuernberg and its place in German and European history. We also visit the Nazi-era sites including Zeppelin Field, where huge rallies in the 1930s were held by Hitler.
Visitors have the opportunity to spend an hour in the museum dedicated to this dark era.
Lunch in a very old sausage kitchen is available. (from 1419)

The Romantic Road - Dinkelsbuhl and Noerdlingen


This tour visits two of the "sister towns" of Rothenburg - Dinkelsbuehl and Noerdlingen. Both are on the famous "Romantic Road."

The tour takes in colorful Dinkelsbuehl, its majestic church of St. Georg, a walk on the town ramparts, a stop at a bakery and more. Plenty of photo opportunities. We then continue to Noerdlingen, following the Romantic Road. There we walk on the ramparts around the town and have a light lunch before returning to Rothenburg.
